The Hova juggernaut made it’s way to Baltimore this week, so the troops were rounded up for a warm welcome back to Charm City.

Neil twitters via the kneeling chair. I swear, it’s great for one’s posture.

That evening we made our way to Scottie B (Unruly Records) and Cullen Stalin’s (Tax Lo) weekly No Rule party at the Metro Gallery. Pharrell came through as well.

Thanks to Hilary, Mick, Chris, Mike, Chad, Neil, and Fam-lay for making the last few days a blast!

ring the alarmz, another sound is dying

Back on Labor Day weekend the fine folks from Noah Larmz threw the epic Fantastic Planet 1-Year Anniversary party, at the wonderfully-named Jewish Mother in Virginia Beach. Myself and my long-lost homey DJ Doddie a/k/a Wizard got down, foam hands were waved like they just didn’t care, and a gorilla showed up. All in all, a blast.

Check out the entire gallery of the night’s antics here.

fantastic voyage

I definitely don’t need a new fan. I have a ten year-old one in my apartment that barely gets any PT as it is…but dammit, Dyson went and made this awesome-looking thing, the air multiplier, and now I really want a new fan (specifically, the one pictured above). At $299, these things are bladeless, and according to the product page, don’t cause “unpleasant buffeting.” I have absolutely no idea what buffeting is or why it is unpleasant, but I do know that I no longer want anything in my life to buffet. And getting this fan is the first step towards achieving that goal.
